PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crop harvesting apparatus with a digging section in which bulbous crops such as onions are dug and collected.SOLUTION: A crop harvesting apparatus comprises: a pick-up transport device (22) by which crops are picked up in a field and transported and a raking-in device (55) by which the crops are raked from the field surface to the pick-up transport device (22). The crop harvesting apparatus includes: a take-up member (74) which takes up the crops from the underground in the front side of the pick-up transport device (22) and a swinging device (65) which swings the take-up member (74) back and forth. The take-up member (74) includes: a take-up plate (74a) taking up the crops and a crop lifting plate (74b) guiding the crops to the pick-up transport device (22).
