PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition in which shape stability is enhanced by raising melting point and oxidization stability is enhanced by reducing iodine number and which provides moist feeling without stickiness to hair and a skin.SOLUTION: Low-melting point components containing large amount of unsaturated fatty acids are removed in from natural shea butter by a dry separating method, a vacuum distillation method, or a solvent separation crystallization method, little amount of impurity contained in the obtained high melting point part is removed by using a purification method such as a column chromatogram method, thereby shea butter with low iodine value and high melting point is obtained, a cosmetic, a medicated cosmetic, a medical product contains the shea with moist feeling without stickiness.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】高融点化による形状の安定性の向上、ヨウ素価低減による酸化安定性の向上、さらにはベタつきがなくしっとりとした感触を毛髪及び皮膚に与える組成物を提供する【課題を解決するための手段】天然シアバターから、乾式分別法、真空蒸留法、又は溶剤分別結晶法等により、不飽和脂肪酸を多く含む低融点成分を除去し、得られた高融点部分中に含まれる微量の不純物をカラムクロマトグラム法等の精製法を用いて除去し、低ヨウ素価かつ高融点のシアバターを得、これを含有するベタつきのないしっとりとした感触の化粧品、医薬部外品、医薬品である。【選択図】なし
