PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain fine mist having a particle size smaller than splash mist.SOLUTION: A fine mist generating device 4 includes: a rotating body 34 having a water raising section 50 for sucking up water from a bottom by rotation, and a water scattering section 51 projecting outward in the radial direction from an upper end of the water raising section 50 a collision plate 35 disposed in opposition to the water scattering section 51 at an outer portion in the radial direction of the rotating body 34 at an interval and a water receiving section 38 receiving the water of a prescribed flow rate flowing down from a water discharge side 45a of a filling port 45, and guiding the water to a lower end 50a side of the water raising section 50.
