PURPOSE: Food product storage method and system using deep sea water are provided to store food products including fruits and vegetables in the low temperature. CONSTITUTION: A food product storage system comprises the following: a pump unit(10) pumping deep sea water from the bottom of the sea to the ground； a storage tank(20) connected to the pump unit for storing the deep sea water transferred from the pump unit； a warehouse unit(30) including a door(30b) on the upper side of waterproof concrete walls for receiving the deep sea water from the storage tank； a control box(40) controlling the temperature and the flow rate of the deep sea water supplied into the warehouse unit； and a balance weight preventing food products from floating on the deep sea water.본 발명은 심층수를 이용한 물품 저장방법 및 그 시스템에 관한 것으로서 보다 상세하게는 4 ~ 5℃의 심층수를 저온창고에 공급하여 저장하고자 하는 물품을 심층수에 침강(沈降)시켜 보관하도록 한 심층수를 이용한 물품 저장방법 및 그 시스템에 관한 것인바, 본 발명은 심층수를 해저에서 육지로 펌핑하는 흡입공정과； 상기 흡입공정에 의해 육지로 이송된 심층수를 저장탱크에 저장하는 저장공정과； 상기 저장공정에 의해 탱크에 저장된 심층수를 지표면으로부터 일정한 깊이로 굴착되어 형성된 창고수단에 심층수를 충입시키는 충입공정과； 상기 충입공정에 의하여 창고수단에 충진된 심층수에 진공포장된 저장보관물품을 침강시키는 침강공정과； 상기 진공포장되어 침강된 상태로 창고수단의 도어를 닫어 밀폐시키는 밀폐공정순으로 이루어지는 것에 그 특징이 있다.
