Food product (10) comprising a meat-based layer (12), an impermeable covering layer (13) disposed on the whole surface of a meat-based layer (12) with a first side (40), a second side (41) and one or more connection edges (42) defined between the first and second sides (40, 41), a layer of batter (14) that covers only the first side (40) and at least part of connection edges (42) of the meat-based layer (12), a breaded layer (15) distributed on at least part of the layer of batter (14), and, in case, a garnish (16) distributed on at least part of the surface of the meat-based layer (12) covered with the impermeable covering layer (13) and left uncovered by the layer of batter (14) and the breaded layer (15). The invention concerns also the apparatus (11) to make said food product (10) and the corresponding method.
