The present invention relates to a method for inducing osteoporosis disease using potassium sorbate. According to the present invention, the method for inducing osteoporosis disease has an effect of easily inducing osteoporosis simply through a step of administering potassium sorbate and thus can be useful in studying and developing a therapeutic agent for osteoporosis. In particular, an animal model with osteoporosis disease can be easily prepared by administering potassium sorbate, which suppresses osteoblast differentiation, and the prepared animal model does not require an artificial ovariosteresis procedure or long-term care in a laboratory, thereby achieving an economically advantageous effect.
