PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salt accumulation determination method by which even a solo proprietor can easily determine, and a soil EC sensor suited for the salt accumulation determination method.SOLUTION: The salt accumulation determination method includes: injecting glucose into soil, the salt accumulation of which is intended to determine, near an EC sensor; and continuously determining an EC (Electrical Conductivity) value. In due time, the EC value reaches a minimum value. The EC value at that time is acquired as an ECbase. When the EC value increases again, a reference culture medium is injected near the EC sensor. It is checked that the EC value increases with the lapse of time from the EC value when the reference culture medium has been injected and returns to an original value again when the decrease reaches an extremum. The salt accumulation is determined by comparing a value obtained by subtracting the EC value when the reference culture medium is injected from the EC value when reaching the extremum, with ECbase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】個人事業者でも容易に実施可能な塩類集積判定方法と、この塩類集積判定方法に適した土壌ECセンサを提供する。【解決手段】塩類集積を判定したい土壌にグルコースをECセンサの近傍に注入し、EC値を継続的に測定する。やがてEC値は極小値に達する。この時のEC値をECbaseとして取得する。再度EC値が上昇したら、基準培養液をECセンサの近傍に注入する。基準培養液を注入した時点のEC値から、時間の経過と共にEC値の上昇又は下降が極値に至ってから再度元の値に戻ったことを確認する。そして、極値に至った時点のEC値から基準培養液を注入した時点のEC値を差し引いた値とECbaseを比較して、塩類集積を判定する。【選択図】図3
