PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning type endoscope device in which an LED is equipped on the distal end of a scope, capable of continuously making an illumination light scan with high accuracy while preventing influence of heat.SOLUTION: In the scanning type endoscope device which has the LED 12 equipped on the distal end of the scope and make an illumination light scan by a scanning unit 13, a piezoelectric actuator 15A spirally drives an elastic holding member 15B extending in a longitudinal direction. A cabling CB3 connected to the LED 12 attached to a holding member distal end portion 15C is wound around the holding member 15B and the piezoelectric actuator 15A.
