The present invention provides improved LAMP Constructs comprising specificfragments of the LAMP lumenal domainto deliver antigens to immune cells for enhanced processing. These LAMPConstructs can be used for the treatment of diseaseand in particular, allergies, infectious disease, diabetes, hyperproliferativedisorders and/or cancer. The improved LAMP Constructsallow for presentation of properly configured three dimensional epitopes forproduction of an immune response when administeredto a subject. The improved LAMP Constructs can be multivalent molecules,and/or can be provided as part of a multivalent vaccinecontaining two or more LAMP Constructs. The improved LAMP Constructs asdescribed herein can also be used to generate antibodieswhen administered to a non-human vertebrate.
