PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester having good operation controllability and capable of being easily housed in a barn by bringing the lateral width of a machine body to be narrow and the longitudinal length of the machine body to be short.SOLUTION: The root vegetable harvester is constituted by installing a harvesting part C, that nips the foliage part of planted crop, pulls up the same and sends the same upward, on either one of the left or the right side of the machine body, almost horizontally installing a transfer carrying part D which transversely carries the crop harvested at the harvesting part C and a selection carrying part E which receives the crop from the transfer carrying part D for a selection operator to carry out a selection operation of the crop during carriage, placing a housing part F which loads a container K receiving the selected crop at the end of the selection carriage part E on the opposite side to the harvesting part C of the machine body, and keeping a container housing stand 79 arranged ahead of the housing part F.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明では、機体の左右幅を狭く前後長を短く構成して、操縦操作性が良く、納屋への収納が容易になる根菜類収穫機を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】植立した作物の茎葉部を挟持して引き抜き後上方に搬送する収穫部Cを機体の左右片側に設け、該収穫部Cで収穫した作物を受けて横搬送する引継搬送部Dと、該引継搬送部Dから作物を引き継ぎ横搬送して選別作業者が搬送中の作物の選別作業を行う選別搬送部Eを略水平に設け、該選別搬送部Eの終端に選別された作物を受けるコンテナKを載置する収容部Fを機体の前記収穫部Cと反対側に設け、その収容部Fから前方へコンテナ収容台79を配置して根菜類収穫機を構成した。【選択図】図2
