PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged beverage mixed with nonpolymerized catechins in high concentration and reduced in bitterness and astringency.
SOLUTION: The packaged beverage is mixed with green tea extract, has pH2-6, and contains the following components (A) and (B) so that the mass ratio of (B)/(A) accounts for 0.0001-5 mass%, where (A) 0.03-0.6 mass% of nonpolymerized catechins and (B) at least one kind selected from the group comprising hexanol, cis-3-hexenol, propionic acid, ethyl acetate, 1-p-menthane-8-thiol, and ethyl butyrate.
