According to the present invention, the liquid culture medium can be fed automatically by means of the liquid feeding pump 30, and therefore the feeding of the liquid culture medium can be achieved easily. The bottom 44 of the culture medium holding vessel 40 is inclined, and therefore an unabsorbed liquid culture medium can flow on the bottom surface and can flow out into the liquid culture medium storage vessel 10 through a posteriorly located drain outlet 43.
