PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deglutition detection device capable of distinguishing between deglutition and noise, and detecting deglutition more accurately.SOLUTION: A deglutition detection device includes a sound analysis part for analyzing sound waveform data including a deglutition sound, and detecting the deglutition sound, and a storage part for storing a detection result when detection of the deglutition sound is confirmed. The sound analysis part includes a sound waveform calculation part for calculating a sound waveform by the sound waveform data and extracting feature data including a frequency component from the sound waveform, and a deglutition sound determination part for determining the deglutition sound using the feature data and parameters. The deglutition sound determination part includes a state transition management part for managing the transition of three wait states of an epiglottis closing sound wait state for waiting for an appearance of an epiglottis closing sound that occurs when epiglottis closes during deglutition, an esophagus passing sound wait state for waiting for an appearance of an esophagus passing sound that occurs when a bolus passes through the esophagus, and an epiglottis opening sound wait state for waiting for an appearance of an epiglottis opening sound that occurs when epiglottis opens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
