Provided is a compound represented by the general formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof which has an excellent LCAT activation function and is efficacious as an active ingredient for a therapeutic agent or a preventive agent of arteriosclerosis, arteriosclerotic heart disease, coronary heart disease (comprising heart failure, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, cardiac ischemia, cardiovascular disturbance and angioplasty restenosis), cerebral vascular disease (comprising stroke and cerebral infarction), peripheral vascular disease (comprising diabetic vascular complications), dyslipidemia, hypo-HDL- cholesterolemia, or renal disease, in particular an anti-arteriosclerotic agent.
