PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of breakage of a signal cable and detachment of a connected part, of an imaging apparatus due to bending operation of a bending part.SOLUTION: A locking piece 69 is inserted into a locking hole 50 of a distal main unit 35 to arrange a cable installation frame 59 on the distal main unit 35 so that the frame swings freely. An outer shell 66 of the signal cable 25 is fixed to the cable installation frame 59 using a cable fixing part 61. Wires 65 of the signal cable 25 are soldered onto a main board 57 and a sub board 58. A lens barrel 52, a prism 53 and the main board 57 are integrated by a prism holding frame 54. The prism 53, the main board 57, the sub board 58 and soldered parts 62 of the wires 65 are sealed by a sealing resin 60 and are integrated. The lens barrel 52 is fixed to the distal main unit 35. When pushing/pulling force or bending force is applied on the signal cable 25, the cable installation frame 59 swings to reduce the force.
