PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intravascular catheter device to use for a surgical operation.SOLUTION: A catheter device 10 comprises a catheter tube 30 having an expandable portion 32 including a plurality of struts 34A and 34B each defining an outer surface. The expandable part 32 is capable of operating between an open position where the expandable part 32 has a first diameter and a closed position where the expandable part has a second diameter larger than the first diameter. Incising elements 36 are provided on the outer surface of at least one of the struts 34A and 34B.
