PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new DHEA production promoting agent for providing anti-aging function and life quality improvement function to a living body, and to provide applied products (foods, food additives, supplements, lotions, cosmetics, and the like) that contain the agent.SOLUTION: This DHEA production promoting agent contains an extract of truffles. It is desirable that this extract is at least one of a hot water extract or an organic solvent extract. More preferably, the organic solvent extract is obtained by extracting the truffles with the organic solvent set at the temperature range of 50°C to 80°C. Moreover, it is desirable to use the artificially-cultivated truffles.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、抗老化機能及び生活改善機能を生体に付与する新たなＤＨＥＡ産生促進剤及びこれを含んだ応用品（食品、食品添加物、サプリメント、ローション、化粧品等）を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明のＤＨＥＡ産生促進剤はトリュフの抽出物を含有することを特徴とする。この抽出物が熱水抽出物又は有機溶媒抽出物の少なくとも一方であることが好ましい。この有機溶媒抽出物は、さらに好ましくは、５０℃～８０℃の温度範囲に設定された有機溶媒によってトリュフを抽出したものであることが好ましい。また、トリュフが人工的に培養されたものであることが好ましい。【選択図】図１
