To provide a radiographic apparatus for reliably recognizing a region to be irradiated with a radiation in a subject before emitting the radiation.
SOLUTION: The radiographic apparatus includes a visible light source 21. When the region of the subject M to be emitted from the visible light source is confirmed and it is recognized which part of the subject M is irradiated with an X-ray before X-ray irradiation. But, when a distance from an X-ray tube 3 to the subject M is changed and the subject M is not irradiated with a sufficient amount of visible light beam which is radiated from the visible light source 21. According to the configuration and the light amount of the visible light source 21 is further increased as the X-ray tube 3 is separated from the subject M. Consequently and an operator can confirm the region of the subject M to be emitted from the visible light source 21 without depending ON the distance from the X-ray tube 3 to the subject M.
