PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the rusting by a spilt fertilizer when supplementing a granular or a powdery fertilizer to a fertilize storage hopper of a fertilizing apparatus and facilitate cleaning operations. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter is obtained by arranging a delivery part 32, a hose joint 33 for connecting a feed pipe 36 for feeding the fertilizer to a planting part of a seedling planting device 14 to the rear end thereof and an oblong air tank 34 installed connectedly to the front end of the hose joint 33 under an oblong fertilizer storage hopper 31 in a fertilizing apparatus 30 having the seedling planting device 14 at the rear thereof and arranged at the rear of a mobile machine body 1, arranging oblong cover units 130a and 130b having the elasticity and the top mounted on the front and rear surfaces of the fertilizer storage hopper 31 in a spread out state so that the lower ends thereof are spread to the front and rear and forming the lower ends of the respective cover units 130a and 130b in an upwardly opened trough part 131. A fertilizer spilt when opening the top of the fertilizer storage hopper 31 and supplementing the fertilizer is collected from the surfaces of the cover units 130a and 130b into the trough part 131.
