PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both of appearance and fitting properties of a product.SOLUTION: The disposable paper diaper is formed with a waist opening part WO and right and left leg opening parts LO in a use state, and has a large number of elastic members arranged at vertical spaces along a circumferential direction, and a semirigid absorbing core extended to a lumbar lower part along a vertical direction, in a girth part T including a waist part W including a waist opening edge, and the lumbar lower part U extending from the lower end of the waist part W to the leg opening start end. The elastic members are arranged at a spaced interval of 7.0 mm or less over a length range of 60% or more of the girth part T. The elastic members at the lumbar lower part U are arranged at the right and left side parts excluding the center part of the lumbar lower part U, and the arranged interval of the elastic members at the lumbar lower part U is equal to or shorter than the arranged interval of the elastic members at the waist part W.
