The separation sheet (3) includes opposite side portions extending in the vertical direction (Y), an intermediate portion (39) for interconnecting the opposite side portions, a front communication section (40) extending from the intermediate portion (39) toward a front waist region (7), a rear communication section (41) extending from the intermediate portion (39) toward a rear waist region (8), and a separation sheet elastic member mounted in a stretched state to the opposite side portions. The void space is formed between the separation sheet (3) and the liquid absorptive structure (23) when the liquid absorptive structure (23) is bent from a crotch region (9) to the front and rear waist regions (7, 8). A chassis (2) includes a front leg elastic member (34) located on the front waist region (7) side and also includes a rear leg elastic member (35) located on the rear waist region (8) side. At least the rear leg elastic member (35) includes a rear traverse section (35b) traversing the crotch region (9), and the rear traverse section (35b) corresponds position-wise to the intermediate portion (39) of the separation sheet (3).
