A method of tracking growth and metastasis of specific cells in vivo is disclosed. The method of the invention includes culturing a specific cell with a medium containing 0.1 μM to 10 mM nanoparticles as a biomarker for X-ray such that the specific cell carry the nanoparticles administering the specific cell carrying the nanoparticles to a subject irradiating the subject by an X-ray and determining the distribution and growth of the specific cell by X-ray images of the nanoparticles in the subject.本發明係關於一種追蹤生物體內特定細胞之生長與轉移情形的方法,包括:將一特定細胞培養於含約0.1 μM至10 mM之可作為X光生物標記的奈米粒子之培養基中,使上述特定細胞攜帶上述奈米粒子;將上述攜帶奈米粒子的特定細胞植入生物體內;以一X光源照射上述生物體;以及藉由上述生物體內之奈米粒子的X光影像,來判斷上述特定細胞的生長與轉移情形。
