Here, the endogenous gene and the one or more exogenous genes are transcriptionally controlled by a promoter endogenous to the gram-positive bacterium. The promoter is a ribosomal gene promoter or a glycolysis gene promoter. The promoter is a natural promoter of the endogenous gene. The promoter and the endogenous gene are located at the natural chromosomal locus in the gram-positive bacterium.
