PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical device capable of easily conducting maintenance of a filter for capturing a capturing object, and improving convenience in handling and maintenance.SOLUTION: A medical device 100 includes an accommodation part 110, an impeller holding part 120, and a filter 131. The accommodation part accommodates a capturing object (e.g., solid calculus K and semisolid blood clot B) existing in a living body (e.g., a urinary tract 630). The impeller holding part includes an impeller 122 for suctioning the capturing object into the accommodation part together with fluid by generating a flow of fluid from the tip side to the base end side in the living body. The impeller holding part is configured so as to be detachable from the accommodation part on the base end side of the accommodation part.
