The present invention relates to a fermented seaweed mixture containing kelp and seaweed furcata, and a cosmetic composition containing the fermented seaweed mixture as an active ingredient. The present invention relates to a technology capable of providing an antioxidant function, a skin moisturizing function and an anti-aging function by injecting lactic acid bacteria in a seaweed mixture in which kelp powder and seaweed furcata powder are mixed in equal amounts. The fermented seaweed mixture containing kelp and seaweed furcata according to the present invention is obtained by fermenting kelp and seaweed furcatea with Lactobacillus sakei (KCTC3603). The fermented seaweed mixture has excellent DPPH radical scavenging ability and contains active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and gama-amino butyric acid (GABA).
