A horse boot arrangement for a horses hoof, the horse boot arrangement comprising a flexible sock member having a base portion for engaging a sole of the horses hoof and a sleeve portion extending from the periphery of the base portion for covering the hoof, means for fastening the sleeve portion against the horses hoof to ensure the flexible sock member remains on the hoof under working conditions, and rigid ground engaging means being detachably mountable to the flexible sock member via coupling means.
