PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitator which is compact and suitable for a cardiopulmonary resuscitation system.SOLUTION: A cardiopulmonary resuscitator 100 comprises: an arch part 10 arranged to cross over a chest part of a patient a vertical rod 20 movably supporting the arch part in a vertical direction and a back plate 30 supporting an undersurface of the chest part of the patient. The arch part has an impact hammer 121 and lifting means 122 for reciprocating the impact hammer vertically. The impact hammer has an impact hammer rod 121a connected to the lifting means, and an impact head pad 121b attached to a lower end part of the impact hammer rod and abutted against the chest part of the patient.
