PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve torque transmission properties when an operator rotatingly operates a guide wire, while securing flexibility of a distal side of the guide wire.SOLUTION: A guide wire 10 includes: a shaft 12, and a coil 14 fixed to a distal tip 20 of the shaft 12 and extending from the distal tip 20 to a proximal direction to enclose the outside of the shaft 12.
