PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a decorative plate which prevents deterioration of a melamine resin and has excellent functionality.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a decorative plate which comprises: a step of adhering cation carrying particles onto a surface resin layer composed of a melamine resin of a member formed by laminating the surface resin layer on a substrate; a step of performing thermal compression bonding by interposing a release cushioning material between a press surface and a surface to which cation carrying particles are adhered when the member to which cation carrying particles are adhered is thermocompression-bonded by a press; and a step of carrying a functional substance on the thermally compressed cation carrying particles, wherein the cation carrying particles are exposed and fixed on the surface resin layer by thermocompression bonding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
