PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the sterilization and deodorization in a closed space by charged particulate water formed at the same time by an electrostatic atomizer in dehumidifying the closed space high in humidity, and to form the charged particulate water efficiently and stably by effectively utilizing the moist air in the closed space high in humidity in forming the charged particulate water by the electrostatic atomizer.
SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizer 8 for discharging the charged particulate water to the dry air after dehumidified by a dehumidification means 4 is provided to a dehumidifier 6 and equipped with a discharge electrode 9, a cooling means 10 for condensing moisture in air to form dew condensation water to supply water to the discharge electrode 9 and a high voltage applying part 11 for applying high voltage to the discharge electrode 9 for electrostatically atomizing the water supplied to the discharge electrode 9. A sub-suction part 12 is provided separately from a suction port 1 for sucking the air in the closed space 7 to supply it to the periphery of the discharge electrode 9.
