PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical connector that can reduce the outer diameter of a housing while disposing in the housing an elastic member that biases a valve member in the direction that closes a liquid passage.SOLUTION: The medical connector 100 includes: a housing 200 having a male lure 213 at one end, and a female lure 230 on the other end a valve member 300 that opens and closes a liquid passage and an elastic member 400 that biases the valve member 300 in the direction that closes the liquid passage by an elastic force. The elastic member 400 is formed into a cylindrical shape by a silicone rubber or the like, is disposed between the valve member 300 and the housing 200, and has two or more grooves 401 formed at the circumference to be parallel each other and to extend diagonally to an axial direction. The elastic member 400 is provided with the grooves 401 to shrink while twisting around the axis, thereby the deformation toward the inside and outside of the diameter direction is a few when shrinks, the space that accommodates the elastic member 400 can be made narrow, the outer diameter of the housing is reduced, and the connector can be miniaturized.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】液体通路を閉鎖する方向にバルブ部材を付勢する弾性部材を、ハウジング内に配設しつつ、ハウジングの外径を小さくできる医療用コネクタを提供する。【解決手段】医療用コネクタ100は、一方端にオスルアー213を有し、他方端にメスルアー230を有するハウジング200と、液体通路を開閉するバルブ部材300と、弾性復帰力によって液体通路を閉鎖する方向にバルブ部材300を付勢する弾性部材400とを備える。弾性部材400は、シリコンゴムなどで筒状に形成され、バルブ部材300とハウジング200との間に配設され、かつ、軸方向に対して斜めの方向に延びる相互に平行な複数の溝401を外周に形成してある。弾性部材400は、溝401を備えることで軸回りにねじれながら縮むので、縮んだときに径方向内外に向かう変形が少なく、弾性部材400を収容する空間を狭くでき、ハウジングの外径を小さくして、コネクタを小型化できる。【選択図】図1
