PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article for reliably suppressing the unpleasant feeling of a wearing person caused by a muggy or smeary state, etc., by showing sufficient hygroscopic performance in wearing.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes an absorbent body 30 which is arranged between a front surface sheet 10 with liquid permeability and a rear surface sheet 20 with liquid impermeability. The article 1 has granular bodies as hygroscopic materials 70, which are electrolytes such as potassium chloride where a hygroscopic amount at temperature in wearing is larger than that at temperature before usage and are arranged between the front surface sheet 10 and the rear surface sheet 20.
