To provide a joint structure of a fishing rod in which a rod tip side rod body and a rod base side rod body can be separated easily when closing processing is made to get ready to go home, while preventing the so-called 'slipping phenomenon' where the rod tip side rod body slips out of the rod base side rod body even when devices are cast at the fishing operation.SOLUTION: A rod tip side rod body 1 and a rod base side rod body 2 are configured so as to be switched between a fixed state of being fixed in the fishing operating state by a pressure contact state of a rod base end side joint 1C and a rod tip side joint 2F, and an unfixed state of being separated into a non-fishing operating state by releasing a pressure contact state. The prepreg having reinforcing fibers c aligned in the tilted direction with respect to a rod shaft line X is arranged on the surface of the rod base end side joint 1C and the rod tip side joint 2F, and an included angle formed by the rod shaft line X and the reinforcing fiber c of the prepreg is set 45°≤Θ<;90°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】 釣り操作時においては、仕掛け等を振り込み操作する際にも竿先側竿体が竿元側竿体よりすり抜ける所謂‘スッポ抜け現象’を未然に防止でき乍ら、仕舞処理して帰り支度をする際には、竿先側竿体と竿元側竿体とを容易に分離することができる釣竿の合わせ部構造を提供する。【解決手段】 竿先側竿体1と竿元側竿体2とを、竿元端側合わせ部1Cと竿先端側合わせ部2Fとの圧接状態によって釣り操作状態に固定する固定状態と、圧接状態を解除して非釣り操作状態に離間させる非固定状態とに切り替え可能に構成し、竿元端側合わせ部1Cと竿先端側合わせ部2Fの表面に、竿軸線Xに対して傾斜する方向に揃えられた強化繊維cを有するプリプレグを配置し,竿軸線Xとプリプレグの強化繊維cとの成す挟み角が45°≦Θ<90°に設定してある。【選択図】図1
