To provide a joint structure of a fishing rod in which a rod tip side rod body and a rod base side rod body can be separated easily when closing processing is made to get ready to go home, while preventing the so-called 'slipping phenomenon' where the rod tip side rod body slips out of the rod base side rod body even when devices are cast at the fishing operation.SOLUTION: A rod tip side rod body 1 and a rod base side rod body 2 are configured so as to be switched between a fixed state of being fixed in the fishing operating state by a pressure contact state of a rod base end side joint 1C and a rod tip side joint 2F, and an unfixed state of being separated into a non-fishing operating state by releasing a pressure contact state.
