PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion type make-up base having good viscosity stability, obtainable natural flesh color finish independent of a light source, excellent in use feeling and suppressing dying to skin due to elution of a color material component, and to provide a process for the production thereof.SOLUTION: There are provided the emulsion type make-up base including the following components (a), (b), (c) and (d) and the process for the production thereof.
