The invention relates to polylactic acid materials containing surface modified magnesium particles and hydroxyapatite and a manufacturing method thereof. It comprises the steps of preparing magnesium particles and polylactic acid materials and adding the magnesium particles into an alkaline aqueous solution for treatment with a hydrothermal method at a temperature of 90-180℃ for 1-48 hours to form surface modified magnesium particles.
