Present invention relates to a method to manufacture a polyethylene fiber, yarn or products made from the polyethylene yarns comprising an active ingredient wherein the method comprises a step of heat treatment of the polyethylene yarn or products made from the polyethylene yarns in a temperature range from 80 °C to 130 °C for a selected time from between 10 to 120 seconds. Such textile products have permanent and very stable active ingredient migration and maintain sufficient textile strength.La présente invention porte sur un procédé pour la fabrication dune fibre ou dun fil de polyéthylène ou de produits fabriqués à partir des fils de polyéthylène, comprenant un principe actif, le procédé comprenant une étape de traitement thermique du fil de polyéthylène ou des produits fabriqués à partir des fils de polyéthylène dans une plage de température allant de 80°C à 130°C pendant une durée choisie comprise entre 10 et 120 secondes. De tels produits textiles ont une migration de principe actif permanente et très stable et conservent une résistance textile suffisante.
