Apparatus adapted for elecroporation and injecting a fluid into body tissue, the apparatus comprising more than one hollow needle (6) for receiving a voltage and acting as electrodes in order to propogate an electrical field to electroporate body tissue and fluid delivery means (10, 12, 20, 22, 24, 26),characterized in that the apparatus is adapted to actuate the fluid delivery means in use so as to automatically and gradually inject fluid into body tissue through each of the needles along the trajectory of the needles during concurrent insertion of the needles into the said body tissue and in that each needle is surrounded by an insulating sheath (14), the sheath having one or more apertures formed along the length thereof.
