A system for delivering fluids, wherein the system comprises: a) a syringe assembly containing equally oriented first and second syringes to form a feed direction, each syringe having a corresponding piston 6, 10, which is slidable inside the corresponding cylinder 4, 9 a syringe, wherein the piston 10 of the second syringe has an adjustable length; and b) a connecting element 8 attached to the piston 6 of the first syringe and mechanically engaged with it in such a way that: i) the elongation or shortening of the piston 10 of the adjustable length of the second syringe respectively affects the piston 10 of the adjustable length of the second syringe for mechanical engagement or disengagement with the connecting element 8; and ii) the movement of the connecting element 8 in the feed direction acts on each mechanically engaged piston for longitudinal sliding inside the corresponding syringe barrel 4, 9 for synchronous movement with the connecting element 8.2. A fluid delivery system comprising: a) a syringe assembly comprising uniformly oriented first and second syringes to form a feed direction, each syringe having a corresponding piston 6, 10 slidable within a corresponding syringe barrel 4, 9; and b) a connecting element 8 attached to the piston 6 of the first syringe and mechanically engaged with it, the piston 10 of the second syringe having an adjustable length and is selectively engaged with the connecting element 8 in such a way that: i) when the system is in the first configuration, there is a gap between the piston 10 of the second syringe and the connecting element 8, so that the piston 10 of the second syringe is disconnected1.
