Disclosed herein is a gel-type skin/mucosa-adhesive preparation for administration from a spray device comprising a gel formulation which contains an active pharmaceutical ingredient in a gel base material, which gel base material comprises carboxy vinyl polymer and optionally gellan gum, wherein the viscosity of the preparation has been adjusted by adding an outside shearing force.
