PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe breasts by an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus while keeping the breast in a state specific to a subject.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe adapter comprises a main part 10, a first extension part 12 and a second extension part 14 which extend to the right and left from the main part 10, and a needling position instructing piece 16 protruding from a top part of the main part 10. The ultrasonic probe adapter is elastic and is formed of a flexible natural rubber, a synthetic resin, or the like. The main part 10, the first extension part 12, and the second extension part 14 cover from a nipple part or the vicinity to a breast side surface of one side and are formed into a bent shape in a manner to extend from the breast side surface of one side to a breast side surface of the other side. The main part 10 includes a probe placement hole 20 for placing an ultrasonic probe 26.
