PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brain function measurement apparatus and a probe holder for the brain function measurement apparatus capable of suppressing a change of measurement positions of the brain area in accordance with size of the head of a subject.SOLUTION: There are provided: a light measurement part including a measurement probe; and a probe holder for fixing the measurement probe to the head of a subject. The probe holder includes: a plurality of holder members 5 where measurement probes are fitted respectively and are arranged on the head surface of the subject and which include hole parts 51a; connection parts 6 connecting the plurality of holder members 5 together via the hole parts 51a; and fixing members 7 which are fitted to the holder members 5 and fix fixing parts (fitting hole parts 61) of the connection parts 6.
