The present invention relates to a fishing rod prop to which a ground bait bucket (including fishing box) containing ground bait is attached when fishing, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a fishing rod prop for attaching a round bait bucket, which provides functionality of slopingly putting and holding a fishing rod or erecting and moving the fishing rod, and combines fishing rods with various diameters. In other words, with respect to the fishing rod prop of the present invention, a rear of a main body having an insertion space therein is opened, an attachment element thermally attached to a ground bait bucket is formed on the edge of the opened main body, and an insertion hole into which the fishing rod is inserted is formed in a ceiling plate above the insertion space. Here, a division element upwardly protruding is formed on the middle of the bottom in the insertion space, so that a lower end of the fishing rod can be fixed while the fishing rod inserted into the insertion hole is erected or sloped.
