The present invention relates to a guide for a fishing rod which forms first and second curved rim units which are mounted on a fishing rod at predetermined intervals and which minimizes friction while guiding a fishing gut； minimizes the weight of a guide ring via lathe processing； and expresses variable colors. The present invention includes the guide ring with a through-hole where the fishing gut is fitted and guided； a supporter formed on the outer circumference of the guide ring； and a fixing unit which is formed on the lower side of the supporter and joined to a joint of the fishing rod. First and second curved rim units which are in point-contact with the fishing gut to minimize frictional resistance corresponding to an angle which the fishing gut is hung according to the bending extent of the fishing rod are formed on the inner circumference of the through-hole of the guide ring. The present invention can extend the lifetime by preventing a frictional loss of the fishing gut as the surface roughness of the guide ring and the supporter where the fishing gut passes are improved by forming a coating layer such as a ceramic coating layer； and reduces the weight by minimizing the welding area of the guide ring and a frame via spot welding.본 발명은 낚싯대에 일정 간격으로 장착되어 낚싯줄을 안내하되 마찰이 최소화하는 제1 및 제2곡면림부를 형성하고, 선반 가공에 의해 가이드링의 중량을 최소화할 수 있으면서 다양한 색상을 연출 할 수 있도록 형성된 낚싯대용 가이드에 관한 것이다.이를 위해, 낚싯줄이 끼워져 안내되는 통과홀이 형성된 가이드링과； 상기 가이드링의 외주면에 형성되는 지지대； 및 상기 지지대의 하부에 형성되며 낚싯대의 마디에 결합되는 고정부；로 이루어진 낚싯대용 가이드에 있어서, 상기 가이드링은 원형의 링(Ring)형상으로 이루어지되, 상기 통과홀의 내주연부에는 낚싯대의 휨 정도에 따른 낚싯줄의 걸림 각도에 대응하여 마찰 저항을 최소화하도록 낚싯줄과 점 접촉되는 제1곡면림(rim)부와 제2곡면림(rim)부가 형성되어 이루어진 것을 특징으로 한다.이에 따르면, 낚싯줄이 통과되는 가이드링 및 지지대를 세라믹코팅과 같은 코팅층을 형성하여 표면조도를 증대시켜 매끄럽게 형성함으로써 낚싯줄의 마찰손실이 방지될 수 있어 수명이 연장될 수 있으며, 스폿용접에 의해 가이드링과 프레임의 접합면적을 최소화하여 중량을 감소시킬 수 있는 효과가 있다.
