PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring the amount of a visceral fat which can suppress variations of an impedance in measuring the amount of a visceral fat based on the impedance of a torso.SOLUTION: An apparatus for measuring the amount of a visceral fat includes a current supply electrode couple and a measurement electrode couple 3 having a pair of measurement electrodes 3A, 3B. The apparatus for measuring the amount of a visceral fat includes an impedance calculating part for calculating an impedance of a torso based on an electric potential difference generated between the measurement electrodes 3A, 3B and a subcutaneous fat measuring part 4 for measuring a subcutaneous fat value. Further, the apparatus for measuring the amount of a visceral fat includes a visceral fat amount calculating part for calculating the amount of the visceral fat based on the impedance and the subcutaneous fat value and a supporting part 20 which has the measurement electrodes 3A, 3B and the subcutaneous fat measuring part 4 and is attached to a body surface of the torso. When the supporting part 20 is attached to the body surface of the torso, at least one of the measurement electrodes 3A, 3B and the subcutaneous measuring part 4 moves along a shape of the body surface of the torso.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】胴部のインピーダンスに基づき内臓脂肪量を測定するにあたり、インピーダンスのばらつきを抑制することができる内臓脂肪量測定装置を提供する。【解決手段】内臓脂肪量測定装置は、電流供給用電極対と、一対の測定用電極3A,3Bを有する測定用電極対3とを有する。また内臓脂肪量測定装置は、各測定用電極3A,3Bの間に発生する電位差に基づき胴部のインピーダンスを算出するインピーダンス算出部と、皮下脂肪値を測定する皮下脂肪測定部4とを備える。さらに内臓脂肪測定装置は、インピーダンスと皮下脂肪値とに基づいて内臓脂肪量を算出する内臓脂肪量算出部と、各測定用電極3A,3B及び皮下脂肪測定部4が設けられ、胴部の体表面に装着される支持部20とを備える。支持部20が胴部の体表面に装着された際に、各測定用電極3A,3B及び皮下脂肪測定部4のうち少なくとも一つは、胴部の体表面の形状に沿って移動する。【選択図】図3
