An apparatus for measuring body fat according to the present invention includes an electrode unit which includes a plurality of electrodes and is mountable along the circumference of a body of a subject, a first measurement unit for acquiring a three-dimensional image about a measurement target part of the subject, a second measurement unit for measuring impedance by injecting a current to the electrode, and a control unit for separately calculating subcutaneous fat and visceral fat by restoring the conductivity and permittivity images of the subject by using the three-dimensional image and an impedance value. According to the configuration, measurement accuracy for the subcutaneous fat and the visceral fat can be improved with low costs.개시된 본 발명에 의한 체지방 측정장치는, 복수의 전극이 마련되며 측정하고자 하는 피험자의 인체의 둘레를 따라 장착 가능한 전극유닛, 피험자의 측정 대상 부위에 대한 3차원 영상을 획득하는 제1측정유닛, 전극으로 전류를 주입하여 임피던스를 측정하는 제2측정유닛 및, 3차원 영상과 임피던스 값을 이용하여 피험자의 도전율 및 유전율 영상을 복원하여 피하지방과 내장지방 양을 구분하여 계산하는 제어유닛을 포함한다. 이러한 구성에 의하면, 낮은 비용으로도 피하지방과 내장지방에 대한 측정 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있게 된다.
