PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling planting machine capable of reducing the machine body width by placing seedling trays on inner seedling placement parts, rotationally turning outer seedling placement parts inward, and folding them on the inner seedling placement parts.SOLUTION: The seedling planting machine includes a seedling planting body for vertically moving by a vertical movement mechanism to plant the seedling on a field. A seedling supply device for supplying the seedling planting body with the seedling includes: a plurality of seedling storage bodies for storing the seedling a movement mechanism that disposes the plurality of seedling storage bodies at prescribed alignment pitches in a loop shape and circulatingly moves the plurality of seedling storage bodies so as to sequentially pass though above the seedling planting body and a seedling fall supply mechanism that supplies the seedling stored in the seedling storage body by falling it to a seedling planting body upward moved by the vertical movement mechanism. A seedling tray 89 includes a plural steps of upper/lower inner seedling placement parts 101a inside a machine body, and an outer seedling placement part 101b outside the machine body.
