PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair having a compact configuration which prevents the collision of stored auxiliary wheels with obstacles by raising the auxiliary wheels highly during normal use.SOLUTION: An auxiliary wheel link mechanism 6 has a first auxiliary wheel link 7 having a proximal end connected rotatably with a frame body 2 and a second auxiliary wheel link 8 having a proximal end connected rotatably with the distal end of the first auxiliary wheel link 7. By rotating the second auxiliary wheel link 8 with respect to the first auxiliary wheel link 7, the auxiliary wheel link mechanism 6 bends or extends.
