An Orally disintegrating disc comprising, a therapeutically effective amount of pharmaceutical salt, at least one water soluble polymer, at least one saliva stimulating agent, at least one bulking agent, at least one lubricating agent and at least one mucoadhesive agent. The said disc is devoid of super disintegrating agent and has better in-vitro cumulative drug release (i.e. 99%) and better disintegration time i.e. 25 - 30 seconds. Moreover, it is highly efficient in masking the nasty taste caused by active pharmaceutical salt. There is no water requirement for the intake of oral disintegrating disc.
