PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripeptide having a sugar (glucose) uptake promoting action on muscle cells or muscle tissue, and uses of the tripeptide as an active ingredient of a composition for promoting sugar uptake, an anti-fatigue composition, or a hyperglycemia inhibitory composition.SOLUTION: An oral composition for promoting sugar uptake contains at least one selected from pGlu-Leu-Pro and pELP precursors as an active ingredient.
