The present invention provides a composition for measuring the gastric-emptying function and a method for measuring the gastric-emptying function effectively usable in diagnosing dyspepsia. The present invention also provides a dyspepsia diagnostic agent, a method for diagnosing dyspepsia, and a method for measuring the treatment effect on a patient suffering from gastrointestinal disorders caused by insufficiencies in the gastric-emptying function (including a pharmacotherapy). One of the main features of the composition for measuring the gastric-emptying function of the present invention is that a pyrimidine compound, which is converted to a labeled CO 2 gas in the body and excreted in expired air, labeled with an isotope of C or O, is used as an active ingredient. The method of the present invention can be conducted by orally administering the composition to a subject, and measuring the amount or behavior of the labeled CO 2 excreted in expired air.본 발명은 디스펩시아의 진단에 유효하게 이용할 수 있는 위 배출능 측정용 조성물 및 위 배출능 측정 방법을 제공한다. 또한 본 발명은 디스펩시아의 진단 검사약 및 디스펩시아의 진단 방법, 위 배출능 부전을 원인으로 하는 위장 장해를 가지는 환자에 대한 치료(약물 요법을 포함함) 효과를 측정하는 방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 위 배출능 측정용 조성물은 생체 내에서 표지 CO2 가스로 변환되어 호기 중에 배설되는, 동위 원소 C 또는 O의 적어도 한쪽으로 표지되어 이루어지는 피리미딘 화합물을 유효 성분으로서 이용하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 또한 본 발명의 방법은 해당 조성물을 피험자에게 경구 투여하고, 호기 내에 배설된 표지 CO2의 양이나 그 거동을 측정함으로써 실시할 수 있다.
